Star Career Academy’s Long Island Baking Program Talks “Cronut Craze”

A viral phenomenon is something most people would usually associate with the Internet, but what happens when New York Chef Dominique Ansel combines a croissant and a donut into one perfectly crafted hybrid dessert? It goes viral.

The “cronut craze” is clearly sweeping the nation with long lines of famished foodies (who are lining up as early as 4 a.m.!). Cronut imposters are popping up all over the nation and even the world.  The “cronut,” which is now a trademarked name, is “the most talked-about pastry from Berlin to Singapore.”

You’ve waited on line to try the widely popular cronut from its creator, you’ve tried the “imposter cronuts,” and yet you are still left with an insatiable desire for cronuts!
